DJ Zack Hadley

Zack is a DJ in great demand with an insatiable appetite for work, with residencies throughout the UK from Birmingham to Brighton; Portsmouth to Leicester, Southampton to Vauxhall, he’s never far from a dance floor, plying his craft.

Born in London and raised on the Balearics, fluent Spanish speaking Zack had a passion for dance music. Moving back to the UK, with a burning desire to become a DJ, switching from Trance towards the then new ‘progressive house’ genre of music.

Zack prefers not to be pidgeonholed, having played sets in most house music genres inc; commercial, tribal and tech house, dependant on the music policy of the venue. Zack launched his DJ career by hitting the Brighton club scene in 2009 and it’s been non stop ever since. Inspired by DJ icons such as Tony de Vit, Andy Farley, Lisa Pin-Up, Anne Savage and Lisa Lashes, his sound is certainly Progressive. “I love music with energy and emotion,” claims Zack as he works the crowd and loves watching how his audience react. Zack is no stranger to huge crowds. After playing to over 5000 clubbers, with a 3hr headline set at Gran Canaria Pride; sets at Heaven (also in Gran Canaria), and headlining at Dublin Pride 2011, has brought international success.

Following sets at Birmingham and Soho Pride’s, he is acquiring quite a following. Cardiff Mardi Gras saw Zack playing alongside Phil Marriott on the Gaydar Radio main stage. He has worked with Anne Savage and ‘Spice Girl’ Geri Halliwell, in addition to guest sets at Fire, Wild Fruit, Heaven and Revenge and some of the UK’s largest gay clubbing brands.

DJ Rick Parker

Rick music style is big funky piano fuelled house, his love of dance music started in his last year of High School listening to Trance and Happy Hardcore mix tapes. He was amazed at how the tunes were blended together - it was this that made him buy his first set of decks at the age of 17. Rick started to teach himself the tricks of the trade through hours of practicing; driven by pure passion for the music he plays which was originally the harder side of dance.

In June 2002 Rick was asked to play his first live set in Bar Beba (Macclesfield) – One problem - they wanted House. So for this gig, playing with records borrowed from a very good friend, he played it, and this was where the start of his love for house music began! With a Trance and Hardcore mixing background, this brings a unique style to the way he mixes Funky House.

Two years later, after moving to Manchester and building up his House record collection, he started to promote himself. The main breakthrough came in October 2004 when Rick entered ‘DJ Idol 2004’ which was held at ‘The Bar Café’ on Deansgate Locks in Manchester. During the competition, Rick was spotted by the owner of a new bar/club due to open in 2005 called 14 Lloyd St.

In March 2005 Rick received the call from the owner of Lloyd St and thus got his first residency at this 900 capacity venue. Playing 5 hour sets every Friday and Saturday night, with his unique style of Funky House Rick quickly got a great following every week. Rick’s ability to read the floor is spot on, keeping it constant all night long.

In the September Rick was asked to enter DJ Idol 2005. This was to be held at Revolution (Parsonage Gardens) Manchester. Rick accepted the invitation, successfully getting through to the final in December. The following month, Rick learned that the owners of 14 Lloyd Street had decided to sell up and were closing at the end of January 2006 - so he had to find something new!

Rick’s main ambition had always been to play in Manchester’s Gay Village. It was with thanks to Anni Hogan (who wrote, arranged and produced Marc Almond for 9 years, and was also Resident DJ at Spirit Bar - Canal Street – Manchester) that he finally got his chance.

In February 2006 Rick dropped a demo disk into Anni at Spirit and a week later was playing the only slots she could give him, mainly covering for resident DJ’s who were away and on Bank holidays. Whilst playing one Bank Holiday, Rick was spotted by the manager of Via (620 capacity bar/club also on Canal Street, Manchester) and was given his new residency where he still plays to this day.

Alongside Rick’s residency at VIA he has also had the privilege to guest at some amazing events around the world like… Tonker in London, Euroski Pride in Saalbach, Austria and Bisbee Pride in Arizona USA!

Brendan Rogers

Brendan Rogers is emerging on the burgeoning folk scene with an impassioned set of widely-influenced folk songs. His rousing vocals are complimented by an accompaniment of strings, woodwind and brass. Appearances at Great Escape, Lovebox and Standon Calling in 2010 have put him firmly on course for a very successful 2011 where he played at Lovebox and Standon Calling again. In 2012 brendan has gone from strength to strentgh with the release of his third single and gigs at The Bedford and The Borderline in london, and also a number of major festivals throughout the year

Brendan has been a late starter to the world of song writing and only took up singing at the age of 25. After 5 years of honing his song writing skills he moved back to London from Switzerland to pursue his passion and start to make a name for himself on the London circuit. In a very short space of time he recorded his first set of demos with Grammy award winner Dom Morley, who had approached Brendan after seeing him play a small solo show in South London.

The demos quickly gained him the credibility to secure some great support slots with the likes of the Magic Numbers and touring artists from Canada - Madison Violet and Joel Plaskett. From here Brendan moved onto play the Gaymers stage at Lovebox 2010 and the main stage at Standon Calling 2010.

Brendan first single was “Valentine” which has been produced by grammy winner Dom Morley (www.dommorley.com Amy Winehouse, Adele, The Police) and features Chris Higginbottom (www.chrishigginbottom.com Sunday Girl, Clare Maguire) on bass, Rob Marlarkey (www.robmullarkey.posterous.com Zero 7, Roisin Murphy) and mastered by Miles Showell.
